FitzGerald-designed 727 West Madison in Chicago’s West Loop receives design and civic awards

As reported by Building Design + Construction, 727 West Madison, a new 45-story luxury apartment building in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood, has won several prestigious design awards from industry associations and civic leaders. Developed by Chicago-based partners Fifield Cos. and F&F Realty, Ltd., the elliptical tower — the tallest building west of the Loop — was designed by FitzGerald Associates Architects, with interiors by Morgante Wilson Architects. It is managed by Bozzuto.”

“The recent awards include four Key Awards from the Home Builders Association of Greater Chicago. The awards were for Multifamily Apartment Urban Complex Over 350 Units; Amenity Design for Urban Complex Over 350 Units; Interior Design – Community Space; and Outdoor Spaces. 727 also received two CAMME awards from the Chicago Apartment Association: one for Innovative Design, another for Studio/Efficiency/Convertible Model Under $15,000 for its model decorated by Cort Furniture. For its overall contribution to the city, 727 received Best New Building from Friends of Downtown.”
